The provisional bridge protects the healing plan

A temporary bridge provides teeth during healing when stability allows. Its contours and bite are designed to protect the implants and allow tissue changes. It may be adjusted or repaired during this period.

The final bridge follows reassessment

After healing, records are updated and the bridge design is refined. The final material may be zirconia, a metal-acrylic design or another system selected for the bite, space, repairability and aesthetic goal.

Material is not the whole answer

Fit, passivity, screw access, cleaning space, tooth position and occlusion influence performance. A highly aesthetic material can still fail if the design is difficult to clean or overloaded.

Ask what the quote includes

Confirm whether the price includes both provisional and final bridges, the material, number of try-ins, repairs during healing and any required second-stage procedures.
