More implants do not necessarily mean a better result for every person. Bone anatomy, implant distribution, bite forces, available space and restorative design all affect the decision.

An implant-supported bridge can provide a fixed alternative to removable dentures and may support chewing and speech. It may also reduce movement commonly associated with loose dentures. However, implants and bridges require daily cleaning, professional maintenance and periodic review.
